A former University of Wisconsin swimmer who turned to track and cross country as a sophomore, Gwenemerged as one of the most decorated runners at Wisconsin. She became the sixth UW athlete to earn All-America honors in the 5,000 meters. This year Jorgensen was the Big Ten indoor champion in both the 3,000 and 5,000 meters. On the cross country course, Jorgensen earned All-American honors in 2008 after leading UW with a 19th-place finish. She also took home All-Big Ten and All-Region honors as a senior. In the classroom, the
accounting major has fared even better earning Academic All-Big honors every year, USTFCCCA All-Academic three times over and Academic All-District accolades this year.
LARABARS have kept Jogensen fueled throughout her college years. Now that she is graduated, she continues to exercise and is looking forward to competing in triathlons and running races. After workouts, Jorgensen is quick to grab a Larabar to replenish. LARABARS are nutritious, healthy, and the perfect post-workout recovery bar!

My name is Melinda and I live in a small town in Georgia but I love all things city! I currently review books, foods, restaurants, etc. but my real passion is writing about health and nutrition and I hope to land a career soon doing that! In my free time I love go running, spend time with my doggie, adventurous/spontaneous, travel, Starbucks, reading, journal/write, thrift/vintage shopping, learning new things and just having fun! My hubby and I are currently remodeling a 1940's cottage and after we are finished we are planning on finishing college and later building our dream home! Unfortunately, I don't live near a Trader Joe's or Whole Foods but I have family that do and every once in a while they bring me back loads of yummy LARABARS! I haven't tried EVERY flavor of LARABAR, but out of the ones I have tried, Peanut Butter Cookie and Cashew Cookie are my favorites- I love that LARABARS are all raw since I try to eat as much raw food as possible! Please come check out my fun blog at http://www.fitandfabulouslife.com - I love making new friends!
