From LARABAR to Hot and Healthy: Thanks for the love!!!

Just in case you didn't see it...here is our second appearance on NBC's The Biggest Loser!! We were so excited to be featured on this great show!

We were so excited to be part of this show and to be introduced to these brave contestants trying so hard to achieve a healthy and fit lifestyle. What are your weight loss or healthy lifestyle goals and what do you plan to do to CELEBRATE once you reach them??

Did you catch last night's episode of The Biggest Loser? Jillian brought a box of peanut butter cookie Larabars to her 'disadvantaged' black team. Woo hoo. We couldn't be more proud, especially because the black team came from behind to win this week's weigh in. Perhaps it was all those PBC Larabars that gave them the energy to burn the most calories? :)

We especially loved Jillian's message about eating simple, natural foods. As she said, it's not just about how many calories you eat, but also about what KIND of calories you eat. We couldn't have said it better ourselves :)

Question for you:
(Assuming) you agree with what Jillian said about eating simple foods with high quality calories, what other foods, besides LB, do you feel fit that bill? What other food 'rules' do you try to follow?

 

Here are some images from a small group of people who just returned from Haiti. We were connected with them through a Friend of LARABAR. They only could fit one master case of LARABARS in their luggage and hopefully they will continue to bring LB’s with them when they return. The heroism of the citizens of Haiti is remarkable, a testament to decency, hope and courage. These individuals deserve all we can give. From the email about LARABAR:
