Crescent Rolls with Goat Cheese, Bacon, and Pecan Pie Bars

Cheese stuffed pastries are always a hit no matter what the crowd or the occasion. The mixture of flavors in the fillings of the crescent rolls strikes the perfect balance between salty, sweet and tangy. If you want to save yourself time and energy, frozen pastry dough works great here.

-  5 Pecan Pie LÄRABAR bars, chopped
-  10 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
-  1 small log of Vermont Creamery goat cheese
-  14 oz puff pastry dough

About 24 crescent rolls

Preheat oven to 400F. Roll out pastry dough to a 10”x10” square on a lightly floured surface. Cut pastry dough into small triangles, about 2” wide and 3” long. On the short base of each triangle place a small pile of bacon, Vermont Creamery goat cheese and LÄRABAR, then roll the dough into a crescent. Arrange on a greased baking sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown. Serve immediately.
